Well, I am taking the plunge! I have been reading many many blogs lately and have enjoyed so many (I faithfully follow Behind My Red Door and many others) and wondered if I would have anything to say that folks would want to hear. So I am jumping in head first. I have just started so bear with me and I hope to talk to you soon. This is a work in progress.

Welcome to blogging!! I just sat down to take a break from painting some doors (letting coat one dry) and I saw you joined as a follower. I see you are from Gardner originally! Small world! My mom's cousin Dorothy was born there. Her husband was Paul, last name Horrigan. I can't remember the kids names. The youngest might be Becky - I am guessing she is a little older than you. We used to go to their house when I was little. I grew up in Worcester but now live in Shrewsbury. Love your blog name. Bittersweet is one of my favorite things in the world and if I ever had a business, it would be in the name somehow. Looking forward to getting to know you! Make sure to leave a comment when you stop by!! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda Thanks so much of sending a comment. This is all new to me so I might ask a few questions sometime. I lived in Orange before my Mom moved us to Chicopee, Springfield, Enfield, Conn, Maine, so we moved quite a bit. I still have relatives in Orange and Athol, MA and we come back there about twice a year to visit and go antiquing. Your blog is so comforting to visit. Your home is awesome and congratulations on the Country Sampler feature. I was also one of the ones who could not wait to get the magazine and see the article. I am looking forward to getting to know you. Thanks a bunch, Sherie
ReplyDeleteSherie, it's so nice to hear from you! I was actually looking for your card the other day. I have been thinking about your (old) store a lot lately and was wondering how it was going! I am finally on the mend and looking for somewhere to sell my wares in a booth style environment.
ReplyDeleteThis blogging thing is sooooooo much fun and I personally enjoy it so much. It can be sort of addictive, but I'm sure you already know that. LOL! I say it has a dominoe effect for me. I start on one and never know where I will end up! But mostly, I think it's time well spent! There is always something new to see and someone new to meet! It really can be a small world!
Have fun and I hope we'll talk soon!
Hugs,
Shari
Shari, thanks for your comments. I think the "old" shop is doing well. Tammy has brought in a lot of new stuff. If you are really looking for another venue, check her out again. Ya never know!
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to this adventure and learning so much. Again, thanks for sharing.
